Fall Wrap-Up

Congratulations to all of the teams that have completed their seasons or have playoffs coming up.

We are now in a transition period where Fall and Winter sports will be overlapping.

It is a priority that the Fall sports are completed before Winter teams have try-outs. 

UNIFORMS - please ensure that there are handed in to your coach immediately after the season to avoid the Uniform deposit from being cashed.

South Kamloops Fall Season

The Fall season is shaping up to be one of the busiest at South Kamloops Secondary.  We have more teams and more athletes participating.

Parent Meeting
To all parents, guardians and athletes who or whose kids are playing or planning on playing a sport at South Kamloops Secondary.
This meeting will take place later in September.  Date and time to be determined.
The meeting will outline the athletics expectations for the year.

Winter Sports review

Congratulations to all of the Soth Kamloops Winter teams.  The coaches, teams, volunteers and fans helped out for another exciting season.

A few highlights:

Senior Boys basketball - regular season champions for Okanagan AA
Senior Girls basketball - second in regular season in the Okanagan AAA

Junior Boys Baskeball - Provincial participant
Junior Girls Basketball - 5th place Provincial placing

Grade 8 Boys Basketball - second in regular season
Grade 8 Girls Basketball - 6th place at Provincials

Wrestling - many athletes attended the Provincial Championship once again
Curling - Okanagan and Zone Placings

Gymnastics - first year and we sent some athletes to the Provincial Championships
